From the very beginning of Earth's existence, a strange creature appeared on this blue planet. They continuously evolved and transformed, finally becoming the familiar form of the Minions. The Minions spend their lives searching for an evil boss, taking pride in becoming his minions, but millions of years of effort ultimately amount to nothing. After a long period of silence, a Minion named Kevin decides to hit the road again. He brings along the music-loving Stuart and the somewhat inept Bob, and they cross the ocean to America in 1968. The three little guys hear about an upcoming "Villain Convention" in Orlando and quickly rush over, inadvertently becoming the henchmen of the female villain Scarlett Overkill (voiced by Sandra Bullock). Soon, Scarlett gives them a mission: to steal the crown of the Queen of England. The carefree little guys set off, unaware of the unprecedented adventure that awaits them...
