The story takes place in a whimsical world called Discworld. The annual Hogswatchnight is approaching, the most grand and solemn festival in this world. Every time this special holiday arrives, Father Christmas (Dominic Borrelli) rides a sleigh pulled by wild boars, delivering the wishes of children from house to house. However, this time, Father Christmas seems to be in trouble. A mysterious organization has sent an assassin named Teatime (Marc Warren) to hunt down Father Christmas, as his existence severely disrupts the order of this rule-abiding world. Teatime has kidnapped the Tooth Fairy (Sinead Matthews), causing all the children to forget about Father Christmas. At this critical juncture, Death (Ian Richardson) steps in to take over Father Christmas's duties, while Death's granddaughter, Susan (Michelle Dockery), is also working hard to find Father Christmas's whereabouts.
