It should have been a calm and beautiful morning. George (played by Ulrich Mühe) and his wife Anne (played by Susanne Lothar) brought their son to their holiday cottage by the lake. George and his son went to the lakeside to prepare the sailboat they would use later, while Anne arranged their supplies in the kitchen. A sharp doorbell suddenly broke the stillness; the visitor was a seemingly polite young man who introduced himself as Peter (played by Frank Giering), claiming he was there to borrow an egg. Peter's proper appearance gained Anne's trust, but what followed left her in shock. At that moment, a man named Paul (played by Arno Frisch), who bore a striking resemblance to Peter, knocked at Anne's door, just as George and their son returned home. The actors were all present, but the family of three could never have imagined that what awaited them would be senseless, merciless, and irrational torment from these two white-clad demons.
