In a small, Christian town in Maryland, people live a peaceful and carefree life. However, an unexpected event disrupts their tranquility when a boy named Shiloh (played by Shiloh Fernandez) commits suicide with a gun, leading to a series of misfortunes for the town. Shortly after Shiloh's death, his girlfriend Natalie (played by Rumer Willis) and her father Bernard (played by Jared Harris) also take their own lives. Lindsay (played by Elizabeth Rice), a girl who witnesses Natalie's suicide, has a boyfriend named Dylan (played by Kelly Blatz), who is the son of the town's pastor. He believes that this string of suicides is no coincidence, but rather related to a witch trial that occurred six months prior, involving Shiloh's mother. It seems the way to stop the spreading death curse is to kill the witch's other son, Aidan (played by Thomas Dekker)... This film won the Special Award at the 2010 British Fantasy Film Festival; and was awarded Best Actor (Thomas Dekker), Best Actress (Elizabeth Rice), Best Film, and Best Score at the 2008 Extreme Film Festival.
