The movie's plot generally revolves around the female protagonist returning to her grandfather's house for a visit before her wedding, only to be plagued by a series of strange events. She gradually discovers that these incidents are related to her great-grandmother, who looks exactly like her. The protagonist's great-grandmother, Arundhati, once punished and expelled a malevolent member of their clan who later worshipped the devil to gain power and came back for revenge, although he was eventually killed by Arundhati. However, his resentment remains, and now his evil spirit seeks revenge on the reincarnated Arundhati, who is the female protagonist. This segment features the protagonist's great-grandmother dancing, and the latter part mimics the drumming dance from "Curse of the Golden Flower." It's quite interesting to see Indians perform Chinese dance. Since it is a horror film, it does have some bloody scenes, so everyone should be mentally prepared.
