The annual spring break arrives, and college students from all over the country flock to the vacation hotspot Lake Victoria, indulging in singing, dancing, and partying. Young Jack Foster (played by Steven R. McQueen) follows his friends to the seaside. Invited by television personality Derek Jones, Jack and his crush Kelly (played by Jessica Szohr) board Derek's yacht with friends. In a secluded corner, the girls enjoy swimming and having a good time, unaware that danger is slowly approaching. It turns out that there has been a geological shift at the bottom of the lake, awakening a terrifying group of prehistoric piranhas trapped there since a volcanic eruption.
