Blind war journalist Sara (played by Michelle Monaghan) lives with her boyfriend on the top floor of an apartment. One day, after returning home as usual, she is unaware that danger is quietly approaching. Her boyfriend is actually a robber who, after just pulling off a big heist with his accomplices, takes the cash and diamonds and tries to escape when his accomplices are not looking, bringing about his own demise. By the time Sara discovers her boyfriend's body, it is too late. An accomplice (played by Barry Sloane) breaks into their home and holds Sara at gunpoint, coercing and threatening her to reveal the location of the hidden loot. However, it is clear that this man underestimates the blind girl in front of him; the harsh tests and brutal experiences of the battlefield have long forged her resilient spirit. In just a few rounds, Sara manages to escape from his grasp. However, even harsher trials lie ahead...
