Young girls Mary (played by Cécile De France) and Alicia (played by Maïwenn Le Besco) are good friends studying at a university in Paris, France. One weekend, they drive to Alicia's family farm in the countryside for a vacation. In the deep of night, with everything quiet, Mary, feeling lonely, is expressing herself when an unexpected visitor suddenly intrudes. He brutally murders Alicia's parents and her young brother, and abducts them. To rescue her friend, Mary secretly sneaks into the killer's truck. After passing by a gas station, she changes into the clothes of a murdered clerk to continue her pursuit but is discovered by the cunning killer. A nightmarish cat-and-mouse slaughter game soon reaches its climax... The film won the Best Actress (Cécile De France), Best Director, Best Makeup, and the Silver Award at the 2003 Sitges – Catalonian International Film Festival.
