Over thirty, Jesse (Josh Radnor) is tired of his boring and monotonous job. He often reminisces about his college life, with memories of the cafeteria, dorms, parties, and poetry readings frequently coming to mind. One day, he unexpectedly receives an invitation from his favorite professor from college, Peter (Richard Jenkins), asking him to give a speech at his retirement dinner. Jesse eagerly attends the event. Surprisingly, he meets a 19-year-old student named Zibby (Elizabeth Olsen), who really enjoys his speech. During their conversation, they discover they share almost identical interests in literature and art, and feelings start to develop between them. However, the reality of their age difference seems to create a barrier between them...
