On a remote farm, a man slowly approaches death. He lies bedridden, struggling to take his last few breaths. His wife is gradually overwhelmed by heavy sorrow. Their twin children, Louise (Marin Ireland) and Michael (Michael Abbott Jr.), return to the farm to help their mother through her grief and say goodbye to their father. Louise and Michael quickly notice that their mother is not only beset by sadness. As their own grief intensifies, they begin to sense a dark force, and nightmarish events unfold, as this dark power seems intent on consuming their family.
