"The Fisherman and the Forest" tells the story of a harmonious coexistence and mutual development between humans and nature. In the woods of Maiken Bay, there are flying birds, and by the sea, swimming fish. Hatakeyama raises oysters here, viewing them as his mentors. The development of human society is closely related to the natural environment; without nature complementing it, humanity cannot traverse the narrow bridge of social development. While many were still unaware, Hatakeyama began to take action. Even if others did not understand, and even if his actions were not accepted by the masses, he would continue to plant saplings and cultivate oysters on this land, waiting for a day when they could become nourishing humus for others.
