Based on the adventure novel by Chard Connell. A cruiser is forced to dock near a remote island after an accident, and three passengers from the cruiser safely arrive on the island. This island is owned by a mysterious man, Count Zaroff, who invites the three to stay. Count Zaroff enjoys hunting, but he only hunts humans!...... Director Ernest B. Schoedsack, who participated in the filming of this movie, has made several sci-fi and horror films. In the 1930s, he directed a monster film called "King Kong," which is the first film in the King Kong series in history.
