The Warring States period, where numerous heroes arose. The sixth-day demon king, Oda Nobunaga, defeats strong opponents one by one, just one step away from dominating the world. Before that, he sent his second son, Oda Nobukiyo (portrayed by Chinen Yuki), to Ise to marry into the Kitabatake family. Through Nobukiyo, the local lord Kitabatake Tsukiyoshi (portrayed by Kunimura Jun) is completely defeated. However, what makes Oda Nobunaga feel troubled is that the neighboring country of Iga is a dangerous place full of hidden dragons and crouching tigers. There lurks the Iga ninjas, known as "the clan of tigers and wolves." The super ninja, Mugen (portrayed by Ohno Satoshi), belongs to the command of Hyakuchi Santayu (portrayed by Tachikawa Danshun). Despite his high martial skills and extreme arrogance, he is only interested in the gentleness of his wife, Okuni (portrayed by Ishihara Satomi). In order to fight against foreign invasions, the various clans of Iga ninjas form a military alliance. Until one day, when the Oda army finally steps onto Iga's land, Mugen can no longer enjoy peace... This film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Wada Ryuu in 2008.
