The first IMAX underwater stereoscopic film, for the shooting of this film, underwater photographers carried nearly 4 tons of specialized equipment, diving into the waters of South Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Indian Ocean, spending 110 days and diving 350 hours. It successfully used IMAX 3D cameras for adventurous underwater shooting for the first time.
