The Associated Press, Life magazine, and other renowned media reported on the "Midnight Murders" of 1964, when the small town fell into a state of panic, imposing a curfew at dusk with heavily armed police patrolling the streets. It wasn't until three months had passed without an attack that the police began to withdraw. In 1976, a film of the same name based on the case was released. Two survivors described the killer as being six feet tall, wearing a mask that only showed his eyes and mouth. In the 2014 version of "Midnight Murders," the serial killings begin anew as the masked killer reappears in Texarkana after over sixty years. Is someone deliberately imitating, or is something more terrifying brewing in the shadows? A lonely high school girl seems to know the secret to unraveling it all.
