"Ignite" is a documentary film produced by Beijing Xilan Line Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., that authentically records the survival status of China's third-generation entrepreneurs. For a long time, the public perception of entrepreneurship has often existed at two extremes—either as "mythical stories," where financing is secured in five minutes and a company goes public within a year; or as a series of criticisms regarding failures, where the greater the past glory, the more doubts entrepreneurs face when encountering setbacks. The film "Ignite" took 14 months to track and document the entrepreneurial journeys of 14 of the most talked-about startup founders today. With unknown emotional journeys and unique startup stories, it truly reflects the real entrepreneurial experiences, survival status, and spiritual pursuits of China's third-generation entrepreneurs. It gradually unfolds the "history of entrepreneurship currently underway" before a wide audience, presenting the dreams and hopes, confusions and anxieties of the entrepreneurs, how they confront setbacks and anxiety, their relationships with employees and family members, and how they endure difficult times while making some "inescapable" choices. The cast of "Ignite" includes Luo Yonghao, the founder of Smartisan Technology; Dai Wei, the founder of ofo; Papi Jiang, co-founder of papitube; Fu Sheng, founder, chairman, and CEO of Cheetah Mobile; An Chuan Dong, founder of Cross-Border Gourmet; Jin Xing, founder of New Oxygen; Ma Weiwei, founder of Mi Guo Culture; Xu Xiaoping, founder of Zhenge Fund; Zhang Ying, founding managing partner of Matrix Partners China; Tang Yan, founder of Momo; Xu Shandan, founder of Lagou; Sun Haitao, founder of 51 Credit Card; Meng Lei, founder of Huangbaoche Travel; and Pan Fei, CEO of Huangbaoche Travel. The film will officially premiere in major theaters nationwide on January 11, 2019.
