STXfilms acquired the North American distribution rights for the new film "The Best of Enemies," starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell, with Babou Ceesay ("Rogue One"), Anne Heche ("Dangerous Liaisons"), Wes Bentley ("American Horror Story"), Bruce McGill ("Mystery Woman"), little John Gallagher, Nick Searcy, and others. Producer Robin Bissell ("The Hunger Games," "The Free State of Jones") makes his directorial debut, adapting the screenplay from the book by Osha Gray Davidson. Henson plays Ann Atwater, a civil rights activist in Durham, North Carolina, who engages in a ten-year struggle with the Ku Klux Klan leader C.P. Ellis (Rockwell) until 1971, when they both agree to co-chair a two-week community meeting to address a court-mandated school desegregation order. This meeting changes their lives.
