Another film focusing on the Manson murders is here, with Hilary Duff starring as Sharon Tate. On August 9, 1969, Tate, then the wife of director Roman Polanski, was brutally murdered along with four friends by murderer Charles Manson and his followers in their Beverly Hills home, just two weeks before she was due to give birth. Tate was stabbed 16 times, and the killers wrote the word "PIG" in her blood on the front door. Jonathan Bennett plays Tate's protective ex-boyfriend and close friend, while Lydia Hearst also appears. Daniel Farrands wrote and directed the film, telling the story of Tate's last moments from her perspective. The plot is inspired by an interview with Tate, where she revealed a year before the incident that she had dreamt of ghosts haunting her home and foresaw her death at the hands of an evil cult. Produced and financed by Skyline Entertainment, with Lucas Jarach and Eric Brenner as producers.
