One day, an American spacecraft was attacked by an unidentified flying object, and the U.S. suspected it was a Soviet conspiracy aimed at dominating space. The U.S. determined that the landing site of the unidentified flying object was in Japan, so the British military sent 007 (Sean Connery) to Japan to investigate on behalf of the Americans. Due to 007's special identity, it would be easy for the enemy to notice him if he entered Japan directly. To mask his presence, 007 faked his death in Hong Kong and then entered Japan under a new identity. On the other hand, a Soviet spacecraft also came under attack, and the Soviets suspected it was an American conspiracy as well. After a thorough investigation, 007 discovered that the mastermind behind the entire conspiracy was actually a Japanese chemical company!
