In a time of war and turmoil, many heroes rise. The Pei Kingdom, content with its status quo, allows its ruler Pei Liang (played by Zheng Kai) to sing praises of peace. The strategic territory of Jingzhou was borrowed long ago by the powerful neighbor Yan State but has yet to be returned.
