New Line Cinema's film [Hell's Kitchen], adapted from the Vertigo comics, has confirmed its director. Andrea Berloff, who received an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay for [Straight Outta Compton], will direct the film. She has already completed the screenplay, and this will be her directorial debut. It tells the story of how the wives of gang leaders in New York in the late 1970s use ruthless methods to rebuild their lives after their husbands are arrested and imprisoned.
