In a future world, the secret system "Platinum Data" has been developed, storing the DNA data of the entire population of Japan, and thereby constructing an ideal society with a 100% reporting rate and a 0% wrongful conviction rate. However, even such an advanced system is stumped by a serial murder case codenamed "NF13," with the perpetrator committing numerous crimes and remaining elusive; even the developers of "Platinum Data," the Tatekawa siblings, have been tragically killed.
