Four young people - Kayla (Laura Jordan), Melissa (Nicki Aycox), Bobby (Nick Zano), and Nick (Kyle Schmid) - are driving to Las Vegas for a party. Their car breaks down on the way, and while seeking help, they find an empty house in the wilderness and discover a sports car in a warehouse. After some discussion, they decide to leave their contact information, take the car temporarily, and agree to compensate the owner for the loss. However, their thinking is too naive; the owner of the car is the horrific Rusty Nail (Mark Gibbon), and Kayla and the others' act of breaking in and stealing the car completely enrages him, leading to Rusty Nail's crazy hunt.
