Mo Qingchun, whose real name is Hassan, is a Pakistani refugee boy who is determined to immigrate to Canada with his family, but his father dies in a car accident; Chen Baori, a taxi driver who smuggled himself into Hong Kong in the 1970s, has a distant relationship with his son. Hassan, involved with the gang, is forced to flee and accidentally gets help from Baori, but the police chasing him is none other than Baori's son Chen Kang, and the reason Baori helps Hassan is a burden that Hassan cannot bear. Director Liu Guorui's debut feature film reveals the hidden corners of Hong Kong through a special refugee theme, with Best Actor Anthony Wong teaming up with Pakistani amateur boy Lin Nuo to portray an unconventional father-son road relationship.
