Shuling (played by Xie Tingting) is a substitute teacher at a secondary school, responsible for a rebellious class, Form 4E. Ever since taking over the class, strange occurrences begin to unfold around her, causing her great unease. She seeks help from the dean, who reveals a shocking piece of information—there is no Form 4E in this school. Later, Shuling receives a call from her mother and learns that she is currently with several students from the class. When Shuling arrives at the scene, the students before her have all turned into vengeful spirits. Bao'er (played by Zhou Xiuna), Xiao Qiang (played by Hong Tianming), Xue'er (played by Zhuang Simin), A Meng (played by Fang Haowen), and Xia Tou (played by Yang Shimin) joined a travel group, but Bao'er tragically dies in a car accident during the trip. Her boyfriend, Jia Ming (played by Luo Zhongqian), who had a fierce argument with her before, attends Bao'er's funeral and is invited by the other four to dinner.
