Young swordsman Long Fei (played by Er Dongsheng) is destined to spend his life with Zi Zhu (played by Pan Bingchang), the daughter of the head of a security bureau, Ding Peng. One day, while on official business, Long Fei learns from a man claiming to be a visitor from the underworld (played by Gu Guanzhong) that Zi Zhu's life is in danger.
