During the Korean War, after five major battles, the arrogant American troops finally sat at the negotiation table. College student Bai Lu (played by Gai Xiaoling) was assigned to start English broadcasts to undermine their morale. Upon arriving at the front lines, company commander Yang Fusheng (played by Feng Enhe) believed that Bai Lu could not adapt to the harsh conditions of the battlefield.
