The large family enterprise, Ichinomiya Group, plans to develop vast lands near the Arakawa River into a high-end residential area. The group's president, Ichinomiya Izumi (played by Takayuki Yamada), is serious and authoritative; he commands his son, Akiyo (played by Kento Yamazaki), an elite graduate from a prestigious university, to find a way to disperse the stubborn residents who refuse to leave the area. Akiyo is full of confidence, but upon arriving at the Arakawa River, he is robbed by three strangely dressed individuals, and his pants are thrown on top of a bridge. At a critical moment, a beautiful girl named Nino (played by Mirei Kido), who claims to be from Venus, comes to Akiyo's aid and saves his life. Adhering to the family motto of "never owe a favor," Akiyo insists on repaying Nino, who then requests to go on a date with him. In the following days, Akiyo moves into Kawachi Village, which has only 13 residents, all of whom are eccentric in their own ways. Through interactions and clashes with them, Akiyo's preconceived notions gradually begin to change... This film is adapted from Hikaru Nakamura's manga of the same name and is a movie edit of the TV series.
