A documentary exposing the dark side of the Mexican justice system: A 14-year-old girl living with an abusive partner suddenly goes missing, and her mother desperately searches for her. Eventually, the abuser confesses to murdering his partner, but the court surprisingly acquits him; the mother seeks social support, and the appellate court finds him guilty, but he has already fled and joined a drug cartel. Unable to catch the abuser, the mother can only protest outside the state government. One night, she is publicly murdered by the perpetrator, and a scapegoat is arrested and convicted. The abuser ultimately dies in a gang shootout. The triple death of the mother refers to: the death of her daughter (death of sorrow), the acquittal in the first trial (death of spirit), and being shot at the state government gate (death of body).
