This film presents the touching love story of a couple, Jack (played by Chen Liqian) and Salifah (played by Qasrina Karim). Both of their families have rich culinary traditions, and both fathers are chefs. Salifah is a Malay and also a television program producer. Her father, Rahim, is a highly acclaimed Malay chef who collaborates seamlessly with his daughter. Jack is a Chinese chef, and his father, "Brother Long," is the owner and chef of a traditional tea house, running a restaurant that has been in the family for three generations. He hopes to cultivate Jack as the heir to the tea house. However, Jack and Salifah's love faces misunderstanding and strong opposition from both fathers due to their different ethnic backgrounds.
