Focusing on the working group in Shanghai, many young people from rural Yunnan come to a worker's area near Shanghai to work every year. Most of these young people are between 17 and 20 years old. They usually live in their workplaces, dormitories, or unsanitary rooms, and sometimes even in the workspaces. They have no time for socializing and communicate through chat apps like QQ. They live like adults, but they are still teenagers, and the unstable conditions and economic pressures burn away their innocence and youth.
