Sarah (played by Shauna Macdonald) had her previously calm and happy life shattered by a car accident that took the lives of her husband and daughter. Although she survived, she fell into a deep depression. To help Sarah recover, her five female friends arranged an adventurous trip to a remote and ancient cave in the jungle, with Juno (played by Natalie Jackson Mendoza) being the most experienced in outdoor exploration and the one who chose this location. Just as the girls marvel at the scenery in the cave, they unknowingly disturb another creature that resides within. Lacking sight, these creatures rely on sound to brutally hunt them down. As the girls unite to save themselves, doubts begin to arise among friends during their escape. How will they find a way out in the confined darkness of the cave to survive?
