Social worker Li Shufen (played by Rainie Yang), who spends her days dealing with numerous cases, receives a report about a child abuse case one day. While questioning the girl's mother, Lin Meihua (played by Kao Hsuan-Chen), she suddenly learns that her daughter, Yating, has gone missing from school that afternoon. Anxious, Shufen checks the school's surveillance cameras and discovers that Yating left with a mysterious little girl in a red dress. Who is this girl? Where are they going? Following the clues, Shufen, along with a rescue team, finds what seems to be Yating's trace in an abandoned hospital in the mountains, but instead, they bring back the long-missing radio host Shen Yijun (played by Hsu Wei-Ning). With no other options, Shufen has to take the mentally unstable Yijun home, hoping to find out about her daughter's whereabouts, only to realize that what she brought home may not be just Yijun...
