At 6 AM on June 6th, American diplomat Robert Thorn (played by Liev Schreiber) tragically loses his newborn son. Following the advice of Father Spiletto (played by Giovanni Lombardo Radice), he adopts a baby whose mother passed away shortly after childbirth, naming him Damien. Damien (played by Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick) grows up healthy in Robert's home, never falling ill. In contrast, a series of strange events occur around them. Robert's wife, Katherine (played by Julia Stiles), becomes pregnant again and discovers that Damien harbors malicious intent towards the unborn child. With the guidance of Father Brennan, Robert learns that Damien is the son of a demon and will only continue to grow in power, bringing harm to the world... This film is a remake of the 1976 original of the same name.
