The story begins on New Year's Eve, when Lu Lushan (played by Mao Xiaotong) and Jiang Yu (played by Yang Le) meet by chance while struggling alone in a foreign land. The special atmosphere of the day makes these two young people feel a unique closeness to each other, and in the crisp air, two lonely hearts quickly draw near.
