Taxi driver Jimmy Tong (played by Jackie Chan) is a guy who lacks confidence in front of the woman he likes and often feels flustered despite repeated rehearsals. Driving a taxi is his only talent, boasting the dubious honor of having his license suspended nine times for speeding. Because of this, he is selected by wealthy businessman Dalang (played by Jason Isaacs) to be his driver. Dalang has another identity as the director of the Intelligence Bureau, and he is currently investigating a corporate conspiracy involving a drinking water company.
