The unremarkable pianist Andy (played by Matthias Schweighöfer) and the aimless layabout Benno (played by Florian David Fitz), two seemingly contrasting characters who would never intersect, meet in a hospital room. Both are diagnosed with incurable terminal illnesses and have little time left.
