The Kalahari people, living in the desert, are far removed from the modern world and have their own way of making a living in the arid environment. Chiko (played by N!xau), a Kalahari man, has two young sons, Chisha and Chile, who are drawn to the dew in the back of a truck while their father is out searching for food. They climb aboard the poacher's truck, only to be taken away by the unaware poachers. Chiko then embarks on a journey to find his children… An American law PhD named Antaer (played by Lena Farugia) is invited to board a plane by a whimsically spontaneous pilot, but due to bad weather, she, along with zoologist Marshall (played by Hans Strydom), is trapped deep in the desert. Both doctors are experts in their fields, but survival in the wild is certainly not Antaer's strength; her flustered demeanor adds a light-hearted atmosphere to the adventure… Cuban warriors and African soldiers fight for their respective camps, passing a rifle back and forth, and they both end up capturing each other… This group interacts in a paradise for animals deep within the desert, creating a warm and cheerful comedy.
