At a chance gathering, ambitious career woman Nate (Rose Byrne) falls head over heels for struggling writer George (Rafe Spall), and they quickly fall in love, getting married just six months later. However, unexpectedly, their marriage begins to crack just a year later. The career-driven Nate can't stand George's frivolous interruptions while she works, while George struggles with a writing block with no sign of improvement.
