Adapted from Lynne Reid Banks' original children's novel "The Indian in the Cupboard." The Chinese version was published by Xiao Yilin (2021). The film tells the story of a nine-year-old boy named Oliver who receives a small wooden cupboard, which his brother no longer wants, and a plastic Indian warrior toy from his friend Patrick for his birthday. When Oliver puts the little warrior into the cupboard, he discovers that he comes to life, which excites him greatly. However, Patrick secretly adds a cowboy toy to the cupboard, triggering a battle between the cowboy and the Indian.
