Eva Green and Gemma Arterton will co-star in a new film, [Vita and Virginia], depicting the love and friendship between Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West. The film is directed by British female director Chanya Button, and the screenplay is adapted from the 1992 stage play of the same name by Eileen Atkins. Woolf maintained a sexual relationship and correspondence with West for ten years after marrying her husband. Although this relationship eventually ended, their friendship lasted until Woolf's death.
