In the blink of an eye, Aidan (played by Zach Braff) is already 35 years old. At this age, he remains an anonymous and unremarkable background actor. Aidan has two children, Grace (played by Joey King) and Tucker (played by Pierce Gagnon). To make a living, Aidan is busy with work and has left all the responsibility of caring for the two children to his father. One day, his father tells Aidan that he can no longer afford the expensive private school tuition for the kids. Reluctantly, Aidan brings his children back to live with him. Due to the shadows of being bullied in school, Aidan is adamant about not sending his kids to public school. Since he cannot pay the tuition, he plans to set up a private school at home and be their teacher himself.
