In 1950, the Korean War broke out. Different political systems caused the blood of the same nation to be shed all over the Korean Peninsula. In a secluded corner, the people of Oginri Village lived a pastoral life, rising with the sun and resting at sunset. Time passed slowly, and a peaceful and joyful atmosphere enveloped the surroundings. However, this tranquility was ultimately shattered by the claws of war, with rumors that U.S. troops would be stationed in the area, forcing villagers to migrate to Seoul. They hurried along their way but found themselves subjected to bombings by U.S. aircraft and machine-gun fire from American soldiers. Innocent young lives withered away, and that bloody moment was forever etched in history... This film is based on real historical events and adapted from "The Oginri Bridge" co-written by AP journalists and the memoir "Do You Know Our Pain?" by survivor Jeong Eun-yong. It is reported that around 500 South Korean civilians were killed during the massacre.
