Girl Xin Ying (played by Xie Xin Ying) lives with her mother in Kaohsiung Qijin and works as a store clerk on the ferries traveling between Kaohsiung and Kinmen. Xin Ying’s life is as calm and peaceful as the other residents, the only difference being that she always dreams of a boy shouting at her, but she cannot make out what he is saying or see his face. Xin Ying has always thought that it was her deceased father. However, one day, she meets a boy named A Cong (played by Zhang Shu Hao) who is serving in the army on the ferry, and he claims to be her future lover, asserting that they are currently in a dream that can change their destinies. Xin Ying finds this absurd, but a series of events gradually leads her to believe the boy's words. As the love in the dream becomes clearer, their intertwined destinies slowly approach them like the ferry... This film is one of the “Kaohsiung City Image” series and was nominated for the Young Directors Forum at the Berlin Film Festival.
