Joosep (played by Pärt Uusberg) is a student at a typical high school in Estonia. He does not inherit the strong personality of his father, a former soldier, and due to his cowardly and introverted nature, he is often bullied by his classmates. He endures the abuse in silence, too afraid to tell his parents or teachers. One day, Kaspar (played by Vallo Kirs), who was originally part of the bullying crowd, can no longer stand by and steps in to help Joosep. This act leads to isolation for both of them in the class, and the violence directed at them escalates. Although they hope to safely navigate through high school, after facing an extremely humiliating bullying incident, an unable-to-endure Joosep finally pulls out his father's gun... This film is based on true events and won the FIPRESCI Prize and the Special Jury Award at the 2007 Warsaw International Film Festival.
