Architect Jonathan Rivers (Michael Keaton) and his wife Anna (Chandra West) are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new baby. However, after a car accident, Anna mysteriously goes missing, with her fate unknown, and Jonathan's life spirals into despair. In his deepest sorrow, a man named Raymond Price (Ian McNeice) appears before Jonathan, claiming he can use EVP technology to allow Jonathan to hear his wife's voice. "EVP" stands for "Electronic Voice Phenomena," which allows the living to communicate with the dead. In order to hear Anna's voice again, Jonathan, who has never believed in any paranormal theories, buys the necessary equipment and delves into EVP.
