Once upon a time, the Earth was suddenly struck by a terrifying zombie virus. Thousands of people became infected, turning into bloodthirsty zombies that attacked their own kind, causing the number of normal humans to plummet. Patrick (played by Matthew Fox) and Jack (played by Jeffrey Donovan) were evacuated by bus, but encountered a devastating event along the way, becoming the only survivors along with a small infant. Nine years later, with humanity nearly extinct, Jack and the baby from back then—an adorable little girl named Lu (played by Quinn McColgan)—live in a cold mountain village, sharing a loving and sweet bond. In contrast, the scruffy Patrick lives nearby, seemingly experiencing a deep disconnect with Jack. On a snowy night, Lu unexpectedly witnesses the long-absent zombies in the courtyard, and the nightmare resurfaces once again...
