Lin Shirong (played by Sammo Hung), a disciple of Wong Feihung (played by Kwan Tak Hing), makes a living selling pork, earning the nickname "Pork Rong" from the neighbors. Lin Shirong often stands up for the oppressed, but his reckless and overconfident personality frequently lands him in trouble. One day, he accidentally strikes a student from the local martial arts faction "Wulong Hall." The leader of Wulong Hall, Gao Batian (played by Li Haisheng), storms into the Baozhilin to demand an explanation, but Wong Feihung cleverly diffuses the situation, leaving Lin Shirong to face punishment. Lin Shirong's younger brother, Lin Shiguang, comes from the countryside to find him, only to have Gao Batian's son, Gao Dahai, covet Shiguang's wife and scheme to kidnap her. Shiguang is brutally beaten, and after a long separation from his younger brother, Lin Shirong mistakenly identifies Shiguang as a thug and injures him while trying to take a stand for Gao Dahai. In despair, Shiguang contemplates suicide but is saved by a down-and-out martial arts master (played by Fan Meisheng). Gao Dahai then seeks protection from Shiro, but the brothers finally recognize each other. Shiguang's wife is also rescued by Lin Shirong, but in his clever attempt to save her, Lin inadvertently captures Gao Batian's goddaughter as well, getting himself into even bigger trouble…
