A young and handsome Korean man, Donghe (played by Zheng Yucheng), travels to Chengdu, Sichuan, China for work. While visiting the Du Fu Thatched Cottage, he unexpectedly meets his Chinese classmate, May (played by Gao Yuanyuan), whom he got to know during his studies abroad. She currently works as a tour guide at the cottage. This encounter reignites the spark of love between them. They reminisce about promises made at birthday parties, intimate gestures, and even their fondness for bicycles, but their versions of these memories differ.
