The protagonist of South Korea's Olympic two-time consecutive victory, the best player of the handball team, Mi-sook (played by Moon So-ri). However, the handball team, to which she dedicated all her strength, disbanded. She gave up handball, which was her life, and began working at a large supermarket to make a living. Hyekyung (played by Kim Jeong-eun), a former renowned professional handball coach from Japan, returned to South Korea to take over the coaching position of the crisis-ridden South Korean national handball team. To enhance the team's combat power, she invited her former colleague and rival, Mi-sook, as well as old players who had shared the glory of the Olympics in the past. Initially, Hyekyung conducted high-intensity training to strengthen the players' combat skills, but her training methods caused discord between her and the new players, eventually leading to a violent clash between the veterans and the newcomers. In response, the association chairman relieved Hyekyung of her duties as interim coach and brought in world-renowned star handball player Ahn Seung-bil (played by Yang Tae-hyeong) to take over her position. Despite Hyekyung's strong pride, she rejoined the handball team as a player at Mi-sook's insistence and because she could not return to Japan, fighting for honor. Seung-bil was determined to put aside his glorious player life and work hard to become a successful coach. He firmly employed a scientific plan that disregarded player care and European-style training methods, which sparked conflicts with the veterans accustomed to Korean-style handball. Ultimately, due to conflicts with Hyekyung, Mi-sook also left the national team... As the best players, they united together to embark on a journey to reclaim the title of world champion in Athens.
